Undercover Presents: A Tribe Called Quest: Midnight Marauders May 16-18 @ YBCA featuring: LA GENTE SF, Awesöme Orchestra Collective, Royal Jelly Jive, MJ's Brass Boppers, Lagos Roots, Broun Fellinis, Ghost & the City, Skip the Needle, Wolf & Crow and many more! UNDERCOVER PRESENTS is a grassroots collective that gathers musicians from from every corner of the Bay Area Music Community to celebrate the influence of classic albums. The concept is simple: Bands are invited based on their enthusiasm for the ablum, from a range of musical genres that reflect the diverse styles and cultures that make the Bay Area music scene unique. Each bands choses a different song from the album and infuses is with their distinctive sound and personality. This Program's executive producer will be Starita. LA GENTE SF will be collaborating with Awesome Orchestra a 50 piece orchestra to realize their vision of a Cumbia, Salsa, Timba, Reggaeton interpretation of A Tribe Called Quest Classic!! ​​​​​​​
