The Festival of Altars was designed in San Francisco by a Mexican immigrant woman and a group of marginalized creators back in 1992. This event will feature community built altars, interactive art and craft stations, Indigenous cultural ceremonies and a live performance by LA GENTE SF. This event is a space to honor our ancestors, our culture and sacred traditions.
